Welcome to Lah! Lah! is a fully offline iPhone tool for recording and reviewing information you choose to enter about your bowel routine. No account is required, and your entries are not uploaded to a developer-operated server. Lah! is for personal tracking only and does not provide diagnosis, medical explanations, treatment, medication advice, or disease-risk assessments.

Information stored on your iPhone
To provide logging, calendar review, daily details, and personal summaries, Lah! stores the selections you enter: how an entry felt, consistency, color category and any unusual-color detail, whether other discomfort was present, and the record date and time. It also stores a random local record identifier, creation time, local date and time, and the device time-zone identifier needed to place the entry on the correct day. Lah! does not use photos, image recognition, or AI to identify bowel content.
Why this information is used
The locally stored information is used only to show recent status on Home, display entries in Calendar and daily details, produce fixed rules-based summaries of your own records, support deletion and clearing, and export your records when you request it. It is not used for advertising, marketing, user profiling, medical analysis, or decisions about you.
How information is processed
You enter each record yourself. Lah! processes it locally on this iPhone using an encrypted database and on-device rules. The developer does not operate an account system, business API, record server, cloud-sync service, or remote database for V1, and cannot remotely view your entries.
Sensitive information
Your bowel routine, consistency, color, and discomfort selections may relate to health or physiological status. Lah! therefore treats them as private information and uses them only for the local logging, review, deletion, clearing, and export features you choose to use. Recording an entry is optional.
Data minimization
Lah! does not ask for or read your name, account, phone number, contacts, location, photos, camera, microphone, home address, payment information, advertising identifier, third-party account, or browsing history. It does not include advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs. Face ID or Touch ID is requested only if you explicitly enable App Lock.
Local storage
Records are stored in an encrypted SQLCipher database inside the app's protected application storage. The database key is stored in the iOS Keychain. Database and related files use iOS file protection and are excluded from device and iCloud backups. Lah! does not create a developer-accessible remote copy of your records.
Retention and deletion
A record remains on this iPhone until you delete that entry, clear all data, or uninstall the app. Deleting an entry or clearing all data removes it from the app's local database and it is no longer shown or included in summaries. Because no developer server copy exists, the developer cannot restore deleted or uninstalled records. Exported files are separate copies and remain wherever you choose to save or share them until you delete them there.
Your controls
You can view your entries, review them by date, delete an individual entry, clear all records, export your records, and optionally enable App Lock. These controls operate locally. The developer cannot remotely retrieve, change, delete, or recover records stored only on your iPhone.
Sharing, transfer, and disclosure
Lah! does not sell, transfer, publicly disclose, or automatically share your records with the developer or third parties. Export occurs only when you initiate it and choose a destination in the iOS share sheet. After you share an exported file, the selected destination and its privacy terms govern that copy. If future functionality would transmit records off-device, this policy will be updated before launch and consent will be requested where required.
System and third-party components
V1 does not include AI, advertising, behavioral analytics, third-party health, payment, subscription, map, messaging, login, or cloud-sync services. It uses Apple system features for Keychain storage, optional Face ID or Touch ID authentication, file protection, and the share sheet. Lah! receives only the authentication success or failure result and does not receive or store biometric templates. Open-source Flutter and database libraries run as part of the app and are not configured to upload your records.
Product boundary
Lah! is only for personal logging and review. It does not determine whether you have a condition, explain causes, provide treatment or medication advice, assess disease risk, or replace a doctor or healthcare organization. The app only stores and displays the selections you enter.
Children and minors
Lah! is not directed to children. If you are a minor, use the app with the knowledge and involvement of a parent or guardian as required by the laws where you live. Lah! does not provide personalized medical judgments or special services for children.
Security
Lah! uses encryption, iOS Keychain key storage, iOS file protection, backup exclusion, optional App Lock, a background privacy shield, and privacy-safe diagnostic logging. No system can eliminate every risk. Anyone who can unlock your device, access an exported file, or control a destination you choose for export may be able to view that copy, so keep your device and exports secure.
Your privacy rights
You can access, delete, clear, and export your local records using the app. You may contact the support email for questions about this policy. Because the developer cannot access records stored only on your iPhone, the developer cannot retrieve or remotely delete them for you. Applicable local law may provide additional rights concerning information you voluntarily send in a support request.
Changes to this policy
If the information handled, purpose, sharing, retention, third-party services, or available controls materially change, Lah! will update this policy and provide an in-app notice or another reasonable notice. Before adding off-device collection, cloud sync, AI, analytics, advertising, or subscriptions, the privacy design and App Store disclosures will be updated and consent will be requested where required.
